If you are not resident in Spain you have to take into account that on November 28th the tax news that concern the Taxation in Spain (IRPF)and the Income Tax for Non Residents (Law 26/2014 LIRPF) have been published.
The objective of these amendments is to adapt it to the EU regulatory framework, in a broader sense, as well as align it with the changes that are contemplated in the Income Tax of Individual Persons and in the Corporate Income Tax and finally, reinforce the legal security of taxpayers.
Thus, one of the changes affecting non residents is the establishment of a general rate of 24 percent for taxpayers without a Permanent Establishment (PE), while for residents in other States than the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) with which there is an effective exchange of tax information, the rate will be 19 percent (20 percent for 2015).

In addition, the tax rate applicable to permanent establishments is equated to the normative of the income tax. It also states that the tax rate for entities in the income allocation system with presence in the Spanish territory will be 25 percent. In addition, by 2015 the tax rate applicable to dividends, interests and capital gains is 20 percent.
